1. Sponsor
The sponsor and administrator is PIN2WINGOLF LLC d/b/a Pin2Win (“Sponsor”), 2300 Nacogdoches Rd Apt 124F, San Antonio, TX 78209, United States. Participating simulator venues are host locations and are not the sponsor unless expressly identified otherwise.
2. Agreement to Official Rules
By purchasing or using an entry, each participant agrees to these Official Rules, the displayed Challenge Details, and Sponsor’s reasonable administration and verification decisions. Do not enter if you do not agree.
3. Eligibility
The Challenge is open only to natural persons who, at the time of entry and participation:
- Are at least 18 years old.
- Are legal residents of Texas.
- Are physically present at an authorized Texas partner venue.
- Maintain a valid Pin2Win account with accurate identity and contact information.
- Use a simulator display name that matches the participant’s Pin2Win entry record.
- Satisfy all venue and Challenge Details requirements.
Owners, officers, employees, and contractors of Sponsor who are directly involved in designing, administering, verifying, or promoting the Challenge; participating venue personnel directly involved in administration or verification; prize or insurance providers; and members of those persons’ immediate households are not eligible.
Void outside Texas and where prohibited.
4. Challenge Period and Locations
The Challenge begins and ends at the dates and times stated in the Challenge Details displayed before purchase. Times are Central Time unless expressly stated otherwise. Attempts are available only at authorized partner locations and simulator bays identified by Sponsor.
Sponsor’s systems are the official timekeeping devices, supplemented by verified simulator and venue records.
5. Challenge Details That Must Be Published Before Entry
Before accepting an entry, Sponsor will publish or display:
- Challenge start and end dates and times.
- Participating venue and eligible simulator bay information.
- Entry fee.
- Number of shots and attempt window.
- Course, hole, tee, target distance, wind, elevation, lie, and other simulator settings.
- Permitted or prohibited equipment and assistance.
- Verification and evidence requirements.
- The current prize amount.
The initial prize is fixed at $5,000 and is not progressive. Any later progressive or closest-to-the-pin promotion will require separate published rules.
6. How to Enter
To enter, an eligible participant must:
- Separately reserve or obtain authorized simulator time from a participating venue.
- Be physically present at the venue.
- Scan the authorized onsite Pin2Win QR code.
- Log in or create a Pin2Win account.
- Provide accurate participant and simulator display-name information.
- Review and affirmatively accept the current Terms, Official Rules, Refund Policy, and Privacy Policy.
- Pay the $20.00 entry fee through the authorized checkout.
- Receive a valid Pin2Win entry and protected simulator event code.
- Complete the attempt within the assigned window and under the published configuration.
An entry is not complete until payment is confirmed and Sponsor creates a corresponding valid entry record. Venue reservation costs are separate from the Pin2Win entry fee unless expressly stated.
7. Attempt Rules
One valid entry provides one attempt consisting of five eligible golf shots. Unless the Challenge Details expressly provide otherwise:
- Only the registered participant may take the shots.
- The first five shots recorded after the eligible attempt begins are the challenge shots.
- No mulligans, substitutions, restarts, or additional challenge shots are permitted.
- Practice or warm-up shots must occur outside the active challenge attempt and as permitted by the venue.
- The participant must use the specified simulator event, course, hole, tee, settings, and assigned bay.
- The participant must complete the attempt within the assigned 15-minute access window.
- The participant must not interfere with the simulator, result capture, recording, witnesses, or network connection.
A shot counts as a hole-in-one only if the authorized simulator records the ball as holed from the designated tee in one eligible stroke under the required configuration.
8. Prize and Odds
There is one $5,000 cash prize available for the Challenge. The prize is awarded only if an eligible participant records the first verified hole-in-one during the Challenge Period.
The odds of winning depend entirely on participant skill and performance and cannot be stated as numerical odds. Payment of an entry fee does not guarantee a prize or any particular result.
If no eligible, verified hole-in-one occurs during the Challenge Period, no prize will be awarded. The prize does not roll over, increase, or transfer to another promotion unless separate rules published before entry expressly provide otherwise.
No assignment or transfer of the prize is permitted. Sponsor will not charge the winner a processing fee, tax prepayment, or other fee to claim the prize.
9. First Verified Hole-in-One
The prize will be awarded to the eligible participant whose valid hole-in-one has the earliest verified simulator timestamp. Review may occur later, but priority is determined by the valid shot time rather than the time a claim is submitted or reviewed.
After Sponsor receives notice of a potential hole-in-one, Sponsor may suspend new entries while verification is pending. If the result is verified, the Challenge closes to new entries. A participant who paid but cannot begin an attempt because of that suspension or closure is eligible for a refund.
If two potential winning records display an identical timestamp or the timestamps are unreliable, Sponsor will use additional reliable evidence—including server logs, video, venue records, witnesses, and precise system metadata—to determine chronological priority. If Sponsor cannot reasonably determine which valid result occurred first, the affected participants will share the $5,000 prize equally unless applicable law requires another result.
10. Verification
All results are provisional until verified. Sponsor may require and evaluate:
- Pin2Win account and entry records.
- Square payment confirmation.
- Simulator account, shot, event, and timestamp records.
- Venue, bay, and booking records.
- Video, photographs, screenshots, witness statements, or staff confirmation.
- Device, session, network, and security logs.
- Government-issued identification and proof of Texas residency.
Sponsor may reject a result if required evidence is missing or unreliable; records do not match; settings or equipment were unauthorized; another person participated; extra attempts were taken; a code was shared; or Sponsor reasonably determines that tampering, fraud, collusion, or a material rule violation occurred.
11. Potential-Winner Notice and Claim Process
An entrant is only a potential winner until Sponsor completes verification and the entrant completes all required claim documents.
Sponsor intends to notify the potential winner within five business days after initial result verification using the email address or telephone number associated with the account. The potential winner must respond and provide the requested documents within ten calendar days after Sponsor sends notice, unless Sponsor grants additional time in writing.
Required documents may include:
- Government-issued identification.
- Proof of Texas residency.
- Completed IRS Form W-9.
- Eligibility and rules-compliance affidavit.
- Prize-acceptance form.
- A lawful liability release.
- Payment instructions.
Tax identification information must be transmitted using the secure method designated by Sponsor and should not be sent through ordinary email.
If the potential winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails verification, refuses the prize, or does not timely complete the claim requirements, the potential winner may be disqualified and the prize may remain unawarded, subject to applicable law.
12. Prize Payment and Taxes
Sponsor will pay the verified $5,000 prize within 30 calendar days after final verification and receipt of all properly completed claim documents.
The winner is solely responsible for federal, state, and local taxes and for obtaining personal tax advice. Sponsor may collect tax information, report the prize, and withhold amounts when required by law. For a reportable prize, Sponsor expects to issue the applicable tax form, including Form 1099-MISC where required. Failure to provide a valid taxpayer identification number may result in legally required backup withholding or inability to complete payment.
13. Publicity
Sponsor may publish the verified winner’s name, city, challenge result, and prize amount to administer the Challenge and accurately report its outcome, subject to applicable law and the Privacy Policy. Any broader advertising use of the winner’s image, voice, testimonial, or likeness will be addressed in a separate written permission when required.
Acceptance of the prize does not require the winner to provide a positive endorsement.
14. Technical Failure, Cancellation, or Modification
If equipment, software, payment, network, venue, or other failure prevents an eligible attempt from being completed or reliably verified, Sponsor may provide a replacement attempt when fair and feasible or issue a refund under the Refund and Payment Issue Policy.
Sponsor may suspend, cancel, or modify the Challenge when fraud, illegality, safety concerns, equipment failure, force majeure, or another condition prevents fair administration. Sponsor will not retroactively reduce an advertised prize after accepting entries. Affected unused entries will be refunded when the purchased attempt cannot be provided.
15. Conduct and Disqualification
Sponsor may disqualify a participant who tampers with the entry or result process, violates these rules, acts unsafely, interferes with another participant, abuses venue or Sponsor personnel, provides false information, or acts fraudulently or unlawfully.
Sponsor may preserve relevant evidence and refer suspected unlawful activity to the venue, payment provider, simulator provider, or appropriate authorities.
16. Release and Limitations
To the maximum extent permitted by law, participants release Sponsor and its owners, officers, employees, agents, and participating venues from claims arising from ordinary risks inherent in voluntary golf simulator participation or from third-party services outside their reasonable control.
Nothing in these Official Rules releases or limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot legally be released or limited.
17. Disputes
Disputes are governed by the informal-resolution, Texas-law, and Bexar County court provisions in the Terms of Use. Eligible claims may be brought in Texas justice court. These rules do not require binding arbitration.
18. Winner Information
After the Challenge concludes and the winner is verified, a person may request the winner’s name, city, and result by emailing pin2wingolf@outlook.com with the subject “$5,000 Challenge Winner Request.” Sponsor may require a self-addressed stamped envelope if a paper response is requested.
